Relationship
I have many relationships in my life. I have a definite priority as to which ones are most valuable to me. It isn’t always easy, because I generally love people and trust people. When that trust is broken, then I go into protective mode. I remember as a young kid having my heart broken. Looking back, it wasn’t a deep relationship at all. Relationships really encourage me and inspire me. Nearly six years ago, some new relationships came into my life and I was given a new title – Pop. I love my little grands for sure. I love the Lord and He helps me grow and go deep into each relationship. My wife and family are a close second place to the Lord. I want what is best for them and I want to give them my very best. My church family, friends, co-workers, clients and customers round out the top tier of my relationships. I believe God wired me for relationship starting with my relationship with Him. David penned so many beautiful Psalms. The one I came across this morning was written after the Lord had rescued him from Saul. Check this out….
25 To the faithful you show yourself faithful;
to those with integrity you show integrity.
26 To the pure you show yourself pure,
but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.
27 You rescue the humble,
but you humiliate the proud.
28 You light a lamp for me.

I want to be faithful in my journey with the Lord.
I want to be faithful to my relationships with others.
I want to love like He loves. I want to serve like He serves. I want to live like He Lives. The Lord’s Presence in me enables deep relationship with others as I live out my days on this earth.
