Celebrate!

There are times we should reflect on where we’ve been and celebrate the goodness of God. My life has taken many turns over the years and I’m so grateful that the Lord has led me along the way. I want to walk in His way. I want to listen to His call upon my life. I want to listen to His leadership.

The exiles of Judah were trying to rebuild the temple of God per instructions from the previous king when they were stopped by the Assyrian governor.  The governor sent word to the king that the people were saying that they were given permission to rebuild the temple. He went back into the archives of King Cyrus and sure enough, the instructions were there to let the people build. He went as far as to pay for the build and supply the worker with whatever they needed.

After the temple was built, there was quite a celebration. Check this out….

20 The priests and Levites had purified themselves and were all ceremonially clean. The Levites slaughtered the Passover lamb for all the exiles, for their relatives the priests and for themselves. 21 So the Israelites who had returned from the exile ate it, together with all who had separated themselves from the unclean practices of their Gentile neighbors in order to seek the Lord, the God of Israel. 22 For seven days they celebrated with joy the Festival of Unleavened Bread, because the Lord had filled them with joy by changing the attitude of the king of Assyria so that he assisted them in the work on the house of God, the God of Israel. (Ezra 6:20-22 NLT)

I want to celebrate the wins in life.

I want to celebrate the goodness of God.

I want to celebrate the Presence of God.

I want to celebrate the Patience of God.

I want to celebrate the blessing of God.

I want to celebrate the favor of God.

I’m so grateful for the Lord and His blessing over me and my family. I want to honor Him all the days of my life and celebrate His grace and His mercy.

Pressing On!

Dwayne
