Revealed & Remembered

Word on yellow wallI love hearing about something great for the very first time. It’s like something new and exciting has been uncovered and I get to see it for the first time- exciting stuff. I even love the anticipation of something about to be shown. There are times when something that I’ve really anticipated being revealed and I remember for a long time the joy and excitement of the big reveal. Check this out….

1 Sing to the Lord a new song,

    for he has done marvelous things;

his right hand and his holy arm

    have worked salvation for him.
2 The Lord has made his salvation known

    and revealed his righteousness to the nations.
3 He has remembered his love

    and his faithfulness to Israel;

all the ends of the earth have seen

    the salvation of our God.
4 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth,

    burst into jubilant song with music;
5 make music to the Lord with the harp,

    with the harp and the sound of singing,
6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn—

    shout for joy before the Lord, the King. (Psalm 98:1-6 NIV)

I am so very thankful for the salvation that the Lord revealed in Jesus. I am so grateful that He has saved me and promises me eternal life. He has an amazing memory except when it comes to my past. He forgives my past and secures my future. I will sing songs of worship and songs of joy because of what the King of Kings means to me. He gives my life purpose, direction and hope.

He revealed salvation and He remembers His love for me – that blesses my heart today.

Pressing On!
