Peace
I would love to see world peace. I think peace brings a different perspective to our engagement of others. I want what I want and I’m confident that the other person wants what they want. If we want our way more than we want relationship, we will likely never have peace or even be at peace.
Peace with others comes from understanding.
Peace with others comes from patience.
Peace with others comes from listening.
Peace with others comes from a heart filled with love.
I came across a final greeting from Paul when writing to the church at Thessalonica. He ends his second letter with a warmth that comes from a place of peace in his heart. Check this out…
16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all. (2 Thessalonians 3:16 NLT)
I love this simple blessing from Paul.
I don’t always have peace in every situation. Sometimes it takes time and a change of perspective for peace to arrive.
I see this as a blessing of Peace within me as the Presence of the Lord of Peace dwells inside me. I need His Peace. I simply need Him!
I want to live at peace with everyone because I’m a peace with my Creator.
Pressing On!
