It’s Clear

eyesight testThere are times when I hear words, but I don’t understand them. There are times when I see something with my eyes but I’m not sure what to make of it. There also times when I know what I want to say, but it doesn’t come out the way I intended. This passage that I read in Isaiah that I read this morning reminded me of out clear and concise the Lord makes everything. He changes everything. Check this out….

1 See, a king will reign in righteousness
and rulers will rule with justice.
2 Each one will be like a shelter from the wind
and a refuge from the storm,
like streams of water in the desert
and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.
3 Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed,
and the ears of those who hear will listen.
4 The fearful heart will know and understand,
and the stammering tongue will be fluent and clear.(Isaiah 32:1-4 NIV)

I feel safe with the Lord, He is powerful to save and keep me safe.

My eyesight is strong because of the insight and clarity He gives.

My hearing is keen because He speaks directly into my soul.

My tongue speaks plain and clear because He gives me words when there are none.

The older I get the safer I feel. My journey with the Lord has not been all that long, but it’s been very rewarding.

The older I get the stronger my glasses/contacts have to be – my physical eyesight is not that great.

The older I get the worse my hearing seems to get. I struggle to hear quiet things, but I love hearing God speak to me, my life and my situation.

The older I get the more I stammer speaking words. I do feel like I’m much wiser and more discerning with my words though.

Because of the Lord’s Presence I feel safe; my eyesight is improved; my hearing is better; my words are clearer. I’m so grateful for Him.

Pressing On!
Dwayne
