Humbled & Thankful
I love seeing the morning begin. I’m a bit of an early bird. I love seeing God’s creation “wake up” each day. This time of year, the trees are starting to bud, and some are starting to bloom. The earth is a part of God’s creative genius. There are often no words to describe what I see in creation.
I came across a Psalm written by David that talks about how big God is. He is beyond my comprehension and understanding. As I read His Word and as I notice His creation, I’m reminded that as big as God is; He cares about little ole me. Check this out…
1 O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!
Your glory is higher than the heavens.
3 When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—
the moon and the stars you set in place—
4 what are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them? (Psalm 8:1,3-4 NLT)
I often have no words – but He hears my heart.
God’s creation is a tapestry.
He is creative beyond description.
He is so kind. He is filled with love.
His grace is amazing.
His mercy is meaningful.
I’m not sure how a person can live here on earth without noticing the Powerful, creative hand of God. His fingerprints are on everything! I am humbled that He has a picture of me in His wallet! He knows me. He loves me. He listens to me. He comforts me when I’m in pain. He carries me when I’m struggling.
I’m so humbled and thankful that Almighty God chose to love me and forgive me for all my stupid rebellious behavior. He is in me. He works through me. I so want to honor Him with my life and my lips.
Pressing On!
