He Is Here

There are times in my life where I’ve been in a crowded room, yet I felt all alone. As I journey with the Lord, I realize that I am NEVER alone. He is with me. He gives me wisdom, insight and direction.

As I journeyed through Job and Eliphaz is pushing on him. Eliphaz reveals that he believes God is far away. Check this out….

12 “Is not God in the heights of heaven?
And see how lofty are the highest stars!
13 Yet you say, ‘What does God know?
Does he judge through such darkness?
14 Thick clouds veil him, so he does not see us
as he goes about in the vaulted heavens.’ (Job 22:12-14 NLT)

If I believe God is far away, then I don’t feel His comfort.  Believe God is here with me and with us. He entered our world through His Son Jesus and He remains in our world by way of His Holy Spirit – the Comforter that He promised.  Eliphaz goes on to preach a little “name it, claim it” to Job. There is some skewed theology in his pushback on Job. I do believe that what he says to Job about surrender and trust is spot on. Check this out…..

26 Surely then you will find delight in the Almighty
and will lift up your face to God.
27 You will pray to him, and he will hear you,
and you will fulfill your vows.
28 What you decide on will be done,
and light will shine on your ways.
29 When people are brought low and you say, ‘Lift them up!’
then he will save the downcast.
30 He will deliver even one who is not innocent,
who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.” (Job 22:26-30 NLT)

No matter what I’m going through He is here.

No matter where I find myself, He is here with me.

He NEVER leaves me. He is ALWAYS here.

When I can’t see Him, I trust Him. When I can’t feel Him, I believe in Him. My trust in Him is not based on my circumstances or my feelings. My trust in Him is based on all He has done and all He is doing. My trust in Him is still growing and expanding. I have made it through some really hard times because I feel His Presence in me, and He walks with me through everything. I’m so thankful He is here!

Pressing On!
