When is the right thing the wrong thing? The answer is more often than I’d like to think.

There are times when I’m right and the way I handle being right is really wrong. I really come off as a “know it all” and an arrogant person.  If I carry this attitude that I’m smarter and better than you; you’ll be repulsed by my behavior. I think it’s wise to take a step back and check out how I’m being perceived.

As a child of God – do I act better than others?

As a husband – do I frustrate my wife?

As a dad – do I exasperate my children?

As a REALTOR – do I talk down to my clients?

I think one of the toughest challenges of life is to communicate with clarity to all the people in my life. I don’t ever want to be perceived as a “wise guy”. I want to be perceived as a trusted friend and confidant. I want to be kind and wise.

I want to say the right thing when the time is right!

Pressing On!

Dwayne
