Faith VS Fear

Fear is screaming so loud that it sometimes drowns out my faith.

My faith simply needs to regain its footing and face down the fear.

FEAR is “False Evidence Appearing Real”

Faith is complete and utter trust in the Lord.

I’ve been walking in faith for most of my life. I have stood in great strength at times. At other times I’ve cowered in fear. Fear is a human response, while faith is a Godly response.

I needed Hebrews 11 yesterday. It’s often referred to as “The Faith Chapter”.  The word faith appears over 25 times!  Faith is the entrance way to eternal life with God. My faith was simple and small when I started this journey with the Lord so many years ago. My faith is still simple, but it is much deeper and wider.

There are occasionally life events that come my way that stop me in my tracks. I’m faced with choosing between faith or fear. I think fear swings the first punch to my gut. But my faith helps me to recover quickly and put fear back in its place. Check this out….

1 Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.

By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. (Hebrews 11:1-3 NLT)

My faith in God is rock solid even when it’s shaken.

My faith in God is renewed each day when I spend time with Him in His Word.

My faith in God grows stronger in fellowship with our local church.

My faith in God grows and expands when I worship Him in every activity of my life.

Pressing On!
