Defender
I have a few things in place at my home to defend my family if someone were to break into my home during the night. I also try to vigilant and secure the doors, windows, and set the security system. The Lord’s protection is far more detailed than that. He protects my travel and He protects me from dumb decisions. He protection is way more comprehensive.
Jacob was about to leave his father in law, Laban. He didn’t trust Laban or his sons. He was told my God in a dream to leave and go back to his homeland. He left in the middle of the night and Laben pursued intending to harm him. Jacob pushed back when asked why he left so secretly. Check this out….

I need the Lord to defend me. I need His defense above all else. He knows my every move and my every thought. He protects and provides for my needs. His Presence in my life is the biggest game changer ever for sure.
