All In For The Win

I am a sports fan. I have become a bit more relaxed over the years and I try hard not to get into a game to the point my blood pressure is up and I’m yelling at the TV! I have learned to be entertained by a sporting event rather that become consumed with the team I’m pulling for. I’ve actually tried to also see the good coaching and outstanding play with the teams involved.

I have also turned my attention to how I can become strong as a player/coach. I’m still growing my business and I’m honing my skills to become the best version of myself that I’m capable of. I still have much improvement to make.  I am determined to keep growing and improving as a Christ follower and as a REALTOR. I think it should happen in the proper sequence. I should seek the Lord with my whole heart and then honor Him with my professionalism and skills.

After Solomon’s death, his son Rehoboam became king. He was quite different than Solomon. He didn’t follow the Lord fully. Check this out…

1But when Rehoboam was firmly established and strong, he abandoned the Law of the Lord, and all Israel followed him in this sin.

13 King Rehoboam firmly established himself in Jerusalem and continued to rule. He was forty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city the Lord had chosen from among all the tribes of Israel as the place to honor his name. Rehoboam’s mother was Naamah, a woman from Ammon.14 But he was an evil king, for he did not seek the Lord with all his heart. (2 Chronicles 12:1, 13-14 NLT)

I really want to seek the Lord with all my heart.

I want to follow Him all the days of my life.

My walk with the Lord take priority over everything else in my life.

I want to be a good husband, Dad, son, brother, friend, leader, REALTOR BECAUSE I’m seeking the Lord with my whole heart.

I want to be “all in” when studying His Word

I want to be “all in” when serving others and His church.

I want to be “all in” when serving others as a REALTOR.

I want the Lord to shape my heart to look like His heart as I live, love and serve others. I want to be known as a man who pursues the heart of God and displays His heart in my everyday life.

Pressing On!

Dwayne
