All I Need To Know
There are times that I know way more about a person than I would like. I use the acronym “TMI” when a person is giving “too much information” regarding themselves or a situation. I have also been to seminars and conferences where the presentations have been “information overload”. My mind is finite and can only process so much information at any given time. This morning in the last chapter of Zephaniah I read all I need to know. Check this out….
17 The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.’ (Zephaniah 3:17 NIV)
That is a promise and I need to be reminded of that every now and then. When the Lord is with me I have NOTHING to fear. His Presence in me equips me to face any and every situation. I really need to cultivate His Presence daily. He could rebuke me, but He rejoices over me. He could demand my commitment but instead He delights in me. His Presence makes my soul sing!
