A Short Note

I recently received a short note of thanks from a friend and it was a blessing. Sometimes a simple, short note packs a powerful message. I enjoy writing short notes to people who influence me and people that I have the privilege to know and work with. What a cool greeting about grace, mercy and peace. Those are three great ingredients to implement into my character. These ingredients are made possible because of truth and love.  John then goes right into a simple yet powerful point of this note – God commands us to walk in obedience to His command that we walk in love!  How simple, yet powerful. If I take a moment to realize just how deeply loved I am by God – it makes it a lot easier to follow His lead and love others.  When I understand just how much I need grace – I can then become a dispenser of Grace. I can’t imagine my life without the grace, mercy and love of God.
