Truth

With the recent surge of “AI” (artificial intelligence), the truth is going to be even harder to find and figure out. The world we live in seems to make up its own truth. Our culture says that truth is relative to the situation you find yourself in. I believe that my situation is relative to the Truth. The Truth that I believe in is absolute, immovable, and unshakeable.  Jesus proclaimed Himself as “The Way, The Truth and The Life”!

I came across the first verse in my reading schedule for this morning and it stopped me in my tracks. Check this out.

¹So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. (Hebrews 2:1 NLT)

I want to seek to a deeper understanding of Truth.

I want to listen carefully.

I don’t want to drift from the Truth.

A few years ago, I decided to start my day with the Truth. You see, I believe God’s Word is loaded with Truth. His Word is how I even know the Truth. The pages of His Word come to life with the life of Jesus, the One and Only Son of God.

Drift can happen when I take some days off reading the Truth.

Drift can happen when I stop fellowshipping with my Church family.

Drift can happen when I start walking away from the Light of His Word into the darkness.

Drift can become Shift, if not kept in check.

I want to listen carefully to the Word of God each day, so that the Truth is right with me and I won’t drift from it.
