Time For Action

There is a time when I can no longer sit on the sidelines and watch. There are causes worth defending. There are laws handed down worth my opposition. There is a right way and wrong way to do just about everything. I have opinions and thoughts about almost everything. I don’t get judged on my thoughts. I do get judged and have to take responsibility for my actions/behaviors. The Lord has had enough of His peoples behavior. Check this out….

13 ‘“Now your impurity is lewdness. Because I tried to cleanse you but you would not be cleansed from your impurity, you will not be clean again until my wrath against you has subsided.

14 ‘“I the Lord have spoken. The time has come for me to act. I will not hold back; I will not have pity, nor will I relent. You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions, declares the Sovereign Lord.”’ (Ezekiel 24:13-14 NIV)

The Lord knows my thoughts. I believe that my thoughts become my actions. I’m not sure that I do a lot of things without thinking about them first. I believe that my thoughts, conduct and actions are sequences that come from my heart. If the Lord has control of my heart, He has control over my behavior. I know that the enemy wants my heart too. The enemy seeks to steal, kill and destroy. The Lord seeks to love, give and build. I would be wise to protect my heart and that will change everything.
