Revealed
I used to love watching game shows to see what was behind Door #3. I liked the anticipation of what was about to be revealed. As a child, I would get really “wound up” in anticipation for what was about to be unwrapped or uncovered. I love “big reveals”. As an adult, I love doing the reveals or buying the gifts. I love making surprises (aka big reveals) happen for those I love. Paul talks to the church in Galatia about the “REVEAL” that He made to them. Check this out…
11 I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. 12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ. (Galatians 1:11-12 NIV)
Once something has been revealed, it’s not the same to re-reveal it! It’s out there and now noticed. There are so many people who sensationalize everything to get a bigger and better reveal. When Jesus was first “revealed” it was really simple – there was a stable, some farm animals and some shepherds. God has revealed His love over and over again through Jesus. The more I study His Word the more I know Him. He reveals more intricate details of His Character and His love as I walk out my journey with Him. I love getting a “new reveal” from His Word each day. This “REVEALED” came from God through a teacher/preacher/friend – but now happens daily through His Word!
Pressing On! Dwayne
