PTL!
I remember when the PTL club was in it’s “hay day” taking donations from people in the name of the Lord and lavishly spending on themselves. It was a huge embarrassment to the church and put TV preachers is such a bad light. In fact people quit using the acronym, PTL. I think it’s a shame to let the evil one win at things like this. I want to bring PTL back out in the open. I want to Praise The Lord (PTL) for Who He is and the work He’s doing in my heart! The Psalmist would probably agree. Check this out…
1 My whole being, praise the Lord. Lord my God, you are very great. You are clothed with glory and majesty; 2 you wear light like a robe. You stretch out the skies like a tent. 3 You build your room above the clouds. You make the clouds your chariot, and you ride on the wings of the wind. 31 May the glory of the Lord be forever. May the Lord enjoy what he has made. 32 He just looks at the earth, and it shakes. He touches the mountains, and they smoke. 33 I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praises to my God as long as I live. 34 May my thoughts please him; I am happy in the Lord. (Psalm 104:1-3; 31-34 NCV)Today is a good day to praise the Lord! I can see His handiwork in all of creation. I can see His work in my heart and in my life! He is so Powerful, yet so Gentle. He is over everything and yet He cares what is happening with me. I love the song penned by Martin Smith and the band Delirious….
I could sin of Your love forever! Over the mountains and the sea Your river runs with love for me And I will open up my heart And let the Healer set me free I’m happy to be in the truth And I will daily lift my hands For I will always sing of Of when Your love came down I could sing of Your love forever! Pressing On! Dwayne
