Provider

I often remember that God is the Provider. All I have is from Him. All I have belongs to Him. There are times when I’m aware of this truth and there are other times when I tend to think I’m all that. Generosity can only show up in me when I have the proper perspective on possessions and blessing from the Lord. Check this out…

⁶ Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 

¹⁰ For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. (2 Corinthians 9:6,10 NLT)

God challenges the farmer to plant more seeds (that God provides).

God provides the harvest that He asked the farmer to plant the seeds for.

The seeds and the harvest are God’s, but He provides them to me to produce something big inside me – generosity.

God loves generous people because He is the One that put generosity inside them. I am never more like God than when I’m generous. He gave His Only Son for me.
