Pray For Me
I really like knowing that people are praying for me. I have been through difficult times and I know what it feels like to be covered in prayer. I have felt the unusual strength that comes from the Presence of God all over me. I have felt the Lord lift my head up and shape my perspective by His Presence. I want people to pray for me even when it looks to be an ordinary, uneventful day.
Paul shares with the church in Thessalonica and he tells them that there is a judgment day coming when the Lord will hold us all responsible for the bad behavior. But He assures the church that He is praying for them. Check this out…
11 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. 12 We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 NIV)
