Peace
There are some words that carry such deep meaning in so many ways and so many situations. Peace is a deep word, but yet sometimes simple. I like peace at home and at work. I like peace in my country. Peace means “freedom from disturbance; quiet and tranquility” I welcome peace every day. The sons of Korah talk about a peace that they don’t have yet. Check this out….
7 Lord, show us your love, and save us. 8 I will listen to God the Lord. He has ordered peace for those who worship him. Don’t let them go back to foolishness. 9 God will soon save those who respect him, and his glory will be seen in our land. 10 Love and truth belong to God’s people; goodness and peace will be theirs. 11 On earth people will be loyal to God, and God’s goodness will shine down from heaven. (Psalm 85:7-11 NCV)I want the peace of God in my heart today and everyday. I want to know that He is in charge of my life when I let Him. I worship the Lord from deep within my soul and that is where peace begins!
I don’t need outward signs of peace when there’s trouble inside. I need peace that flows from inside to the outside. I need the peace of God to rule and reign in my heart!
