Passionate Prayer

I love to see people passionate about their dream. I love it when people are passionate about their life’s work. I believe that passionate pursuit and passionate persistence can make up for ability and skill in lots of cases.

I learned something significant about prayer from this short passage. Prayer is intimate communication between God and me. I have prayed a lot over the years. The more I learn about God, the more I want to pray about EVERYTHING!

I pray NOT because I’m good, but because GOD IS GOOD! I pray because of God’s Mercy, which has no boundaries. He listens when I pray. I need His forgiveness and His GRACE. I pray even when His answers or His response is not what I want. I know that He loves me and He listens to me. Sometimes, simply praying about something or for someone gives me a totally different perspective.

I want to wear the name Christian, because I’m a follower of Christ – the One and Only Son of God. He made the Way for me to approach Creator God on a personal basis. I’m so thankful for the privilege and power of prayer. God changes things all the time and in prayer, He changes me!
