Impossible
This is not a word that is in “The Lord’s Playbook”. He can do anything He wants at any time He wants. He is not bound by our time or our locations. The boundaries that are around my life do not apply to His Presence and His ability. It is impossible for me to fathom and understand the Power of God. He has no boundaries. He has no limits.
God appeared to Abraham and told him that he and his wife would have a son within the next year. Sarah chuckled under her breath, but the Lord heard it. He called her out with a powerful statement in the form of a question. Check this out….
13 Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say, ‘Can an old woman like me have a baby?’ 14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” (Genesis 18:13-14 NLT)
The answer to that question is a resounding “NO!” The Lord can do anything He wants. He can go anywhere He wants.
This is where my faith comes into the picture. What do I believe about God? Can He really do anything He wants? I’ve been listening to a song that talks about my faith when things don’t go as I’ve prayed they would go.
Mercy Me “Even If” (with Bart Millard’s testimony)
I know You’re able and I know You can
Save through the fire with Your mighty hand But even if You don’t My hope is You aloneThey say it only takes a little faith
To move a mountain Well good thing A little faith is all I have, right now But God, when You choose To leave mountains unmovable Oh give me the strength to be able to sing It is well with my soulPressing On!
