He Knows

I have finally come to terms with the fact that He knows everything. There is nothing that escapes His notice. He hears me when I cry out to Him or speak on His behalf. He notices when I don’t speak up and speak when His Name is defamed. He notices my behavior and how well it connects with my heart. He can’t be fooled, deceived or tricking into believing something that isn’t true or real. He alone knows every motive of my heart. I think it’s very wise to always come clean and be real before Him. He tells Ezekiel to speak against Edom – He knew of their arrogance and disrespect of Him. Check this out….

1The word of the Lord came to me: 2 ‘Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir; prophesy against it 3 and say: “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you and make you a desolate waste. 4 I will turn your towns into ruins and you will be desolate. Then you will know that I am the Lord. (Ezekiel 35:1-4 NIV)

As I read further into this chapter, I learned that the Lord knew of their heart in the way they treated His people. He knows my heart too. He knows all there is to know about me and loves me anyway. That is amazing grace. I want to live my life knowing the Lord and knowing of His mighty strength and power so that He doesn’t need to prove it to me. I want to know Him and His heart like He knows my heart and me. I’ve seen the Power of the Lord. I’ve seen the Compassion of the Lord. I know of His Mercy and Grace. I know He knows me too.
