Dedicated
I feel blessed to be a homeowner over the years. I had the privilege of having my home built by a trusted friend years ago. My wife and I enjoyed the process and we love were we live even though we can afford a much nicer and larger home. I am an unashamed follower of Christ and He has taught me that I’m simply a steward of all that I have. God owns, I simply manage. I sometimes act like it’s all “my stuff”, when in reality, all that I have belongs to the Lord.
King David was blessed as King to have conquered other nations and acquired their riches of gold, silver, bronze and other riches. He knew Who this belonged too. Check this out….
9 When King Toi of Hamath heard that David had destroyed the entire army of King Hadadezer of Zobah, 10 he sent his son Joram to congratulate King David for his successful campaign. Hadadezer and Toi had been enemies and were often at war. Joram presented David with many gifts of gold, silver, and bronze.
11 King David dedicated all these gifts to the Lord, along with the silver and gold he had taken from the other nations—from Edom, Moab, Ammon, Philistia, and Amalek. (1 Chronicles 18:9-11 NLT)
I need to daily dedicate all that I have to the Lord. I need to dedicate my clients and customers to the Lord. I’m so blessed to serve many people in buying or selling real estate. I’m thankful for them and I feel like the Lord has profoundly blessed me. I am simply learning daily to keep dedicated all the He blesses me with to Him. I am also blessed to work with many esteemed and professional REALTORS who are part of the company that I manage.
I want to be a good manager for God. He owns I manage. I dedicate all that He has blessed me with to Him. He owns everything. He keeps blessing me. My relationship with Him grows deeper, the more I surrender everything to Him. I think this was the secret to King David’s success. I think this is the secret to my success as well. God owns. I simply manage. I dedicate my life to Him again today and everyday.
Pressing On!
