Behind The Scenes
There are many things that go on with people holding public positions, but behind the scenes is where the real work is being done. I know that there are meetings that happen to develop a strategy to bring harm to a nemesis. The things that go on behind the scenes often comes to light in the open.
David was still King of Judah, but the son of Saul was king over the rest of Israel. Abner, the captain of the army got ticked off at his boss, Ishbosheth and started working at getting David to be king over the whole country. Check this out…

Life is really lived out behind the scenes. Behind the scenes where no one is watching is where some great growth happens. I think behind the scenes there is a place to focus without the distraction of so many other opinions and perspective.
Behind the scenes is not always positive and beautiful – it is sometime ugly and messy but highly productive. Most of us only show our “highlight reel” to the world and keep the “behind the scenes” protected from view.
The Lord knows me behind the scenes and in the public view. He has done some amazing work in me during the hardest times of my life. He does His best work in times of struggle and suffering. He is with me behind the scenes. He is for me behind the scenes. He is faithful behind the scenes. The person I present to the world is the person who is built behind the scenes.
I’m thankful for the Lord’s shaping and molding of my heart. He knows the good, the bad and the ugly and loves me anyway. He is still shaping my heart behind the scenes so that I’m consistent in character and work ethic where people see.
