Come & Listen

There are times in life when things happen that you can’t explain. The things that happen are not normal or common. The events can appear random and spontaneous. As a believer, I don’t believe in all the “random” stuff. I believe that God has order, plans and “blue prints” for our lives.  A simple Psalm that tells us what God is doing really blessed me. Check this out…

 1 Everything on earth, shout with joy to God!

 2 Sing about his glory!

       Make his praise glorious!

 3 Say to God, “Your works are amazing!

       Because your power is great,

       your enemies fall before you.

 4 All the earth worships you

       and sings praises to you.

       They sing praises to your name.”

 5 Come and see what God has done,

       the amazing things he has done for people.

16 All of you who fear God, come and listen,

       and I will tell you what he has done for me. (Psalm 66:1-5; 16 NCV)

When I take a moment to reflect on my journey, I can see that parts of it are tough. I can also see God’s presence with me the whole time. He never walks off and ignores our hurts or our needs. He has done amazing things for my and my family. I wish that I could articulate fully the details of what God has done and what God is doing in my life. His Presence is so Powerful, yet Gentle and Comforting. I need Him every day and He’s with me every day. I don’t know where to start trying to tell all He’s done for me.

I’m grateful to God for His Presence and Power in my life.
