Worthy Of My Praise
When someone does something good that blesses me, I really try to tell him or her. I want them to know what a blessing they were to me. If they deserve honor, I want to give them honor. It also is a good feeling to have been a blessing to someone else. My journey in Revelation took me to another scene in heaven where worship was taking place. This was a worship of thanksgiving to God. Check this out….
9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” 11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” (Revelation 7:9-12 NIV)
These people were worshipping out of deep gratitude for Who God is and what He had done in their life. There’s not a better thing to do than to give Him honor and praise for Who He is and all that He’s doing in my life and my world.
He is The Source of Salvation.
He is The Source of Grace.
He is The Source of Mercy.
He is The Source of Life.
Everything thing and everyone can trace their heritage back to Him. He alone is worthy of my praise this morning and every morning.
You Alone are Father.
You Alone are Good.
You Alone are Savior.
You Alone are God!
Pressing On! Dwayne
