R & P

I think sometime the sequential order of things is important. I believe that respect for God leads to praising Him for Who He is and what He has done.  I believe that respect is very basic to my understanding of Him. I believe respect is a healthy attribute to my personality and my character.   I love this Psalm because it speaks to both respect and praise.  Check this out….

1. All that I am, praise the Lord;
       everything in me, praise his holy name.
 2 My whole being, praise the Lord
       and do not forget all his kindnesses.
 3 He forgives all my sins
       and heals all my diseases.
 4 He saves my life from the grave
       and loads me with love and mercy.
 5 He satisfies me with good things
       and makes me young again, like the eagle.
 11 As high as the sky is above the earth,
       so great is his love for those who respect him.
 12 He has taken our sins away from us
       as far as the east is from west. (Psalm 103:1-5;11-12 NCV)

Respect for God leads me to praise Him for Who He is and what He has done in my life. I can’t even imagine my life without Him. He is integral to shaping my view of everything that happens in my journey. He welcomes me in spite of my imperfections and flaws. He had removed my sins from me and had loaded me up with love and mercy.  There are not enough words to adequately say or write all that He has done and keeps doing for me. I respect Him from every fiber of my being and I want to praise Him with every one of those fibers of my being!  I respect God & I praise Him for Who He is and What He has done!

Pressing On!
Dwayne
