Live & Teach Wisdom

I think wisdom is sometimes mistaken as simply being a product of life experiences. For example, I know a lot of things that won’t work because I’ve tried them. Those experiences may very well make me wise in those things. I believe wisdom to be much bigger and much deeper than that.  I believe wisdom comes from knowing the Lord and having a consistent and meaningful walk with Him.  Out of that walk, we can influence and teach others. Check out what Solomon says about this….

“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”

 8 Do not correct those who make fun of wisdom, or they will hate you.
       But correct the wise, and they will love you.
 9 Teach the wise, and they will become even wiser;
       teach good people, and they will learn even more.
 10 “Wisdom begins with respect for the Lord,
       and understanding begins with knowing the Holy One.
 11 If you live wisely, you will live a long time;
       wisdom will add years to your life.
 12 The wise person is rewarded by wisdom,
       but whoever makes fun of wisdom will suffer for it.” (Proverbs 9:8-12 NCV)

 I want to make the wisdom of God a part of my DNA. I want His wisdom woven through out the fiber of my life. I want others to know His wisdom and experience life with His leadership.  It takes a wise person to lay down their agenda for God’s agenda. I want to be that person every day of my life.

 I want my life to have influence that comes from the wisdom of God that permeates my soul. I want to walk very close to Him daily to draw upon the wisdom that comes only from Him.
