How He Loves

I love the song by John Mark McMillan called, “How He Loves”, and the story behind the song. I’m not sure I ever really understood just how much God loves me. He created me. When I discovered how much He loves me, everything changed in a good way. I began to understand why I’m here on earth. I begin to understand His call upon my life. To put it simply, I see things differently …like from His point of view.  I came across a passage about Jerusalem in the book of Isaiah and I put me in this passage and it blessed me to know how much God loves. “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”

 The love God has for me is immeasurable. He loves with a relentless pursuit. He sent Jesus to this earth to make peace with all mankind on behalf of the Father. His love simply makes a way back to Him. I’m finding myself without adequate grasp of the English language to describe the Love of God. I get overwhelmed when I try to think of it and really grasp it.

There are things I know about the love of God that are set in concrete. He is Faithful. He is Full of Mercy, He is Consistent. He defines Love. He NEVER gives up. He loves me like I’ve never been loved before.

 I love being loved by God so completely!
