Creation Can Sing
I enjoy the early morning. It’s not always easy to get out of bed, but there is something exciting and expectant about a new day. The possibilities are endless. Today could go millions of different ways. I am still learning to trust the ONLY One Who knows what this day actually holds. He is never surprised at the things that surprise me. I often wish He would give me a “heads up”. The early morning as a new day begins is fresh. If there is a light breeze, you can hear the trees singing. The birds are chiming in. There are animals stirring either about to begin their day or about to rest from a long night’s work. The sky slowly lights up as the day starts to dawn. I believe that God’s Creation sings of His Presence and His Creative Power. I believe that we were all made to worship and that includes His Creation. Check this out….
1 Sing a new song to the Lord!
Let the whole earth sing to the Lord!
2 Sing to the Lord; praise his name.
Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.
3 Publish his glorious deeds among the nations.
Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.
4 Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise!
He is to be feared above all gods.
11 Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice!
Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise!
12 Let the fields and their crops burst out with joy!
Let the trees of the forest sing for joy
13 before the Lord, for he is coming!
He is coming to judge the earth.
He will judge the world with justice,
and the nations with his truth. (Psalm 96:1-4;11-13 NLT)
I love music and I love singing.
I love to hear a crowd singing.
I love hearing the birds singing.
I love seeing joy on people’s faces.
I love hearing a funny story.
I love laughter.
I love feeling a gentle wind and seeing its effect on creation.
I love feeling the Presence of God all over and around me.
I love my family and seeing them express their love and respect for The Father.
I believe that the Lord is most pleased, when I express my gratitude and praise to Him for all He is doing and all He has already done in my life. If I forget to praise Him, the rest of His Creation will step it up.
Pressing On!
