Right & Wrong

My parents taught me the difference between right and wrong at a very early age. It’s not uncommon to see people do something wrong. I have tried to live right more than wrong over the years. I discovered that my actions come out of my heart. There are times when heart is self-centered.  Self-centered s the opposite of Christ centered.  Check out what Isaiah says….

10 Tell those who do what is right that things will go well for them,

“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”

because they will receive a reward for what they do.
11 But how terrible it will be for the wicked!
They will be punished for all the wrong they have done.
12 Children treat my people cruelly,
       and women rule over them.
My people, your guides lead you in the wrong way
and turn you away from what is right.  (Isaiah 3:10-12 NCV)

At the end of it all, the list of right things I’ve done will still be outweighed against the wrong things I’ve done EXCEPT for GRACE!  I believe that all of without GRACE don’t stand a change of the day of judgment.  I’m thankful for Jesus who dispensed Grace after His death.  The choice between right & wrong has never been clearer. My understanding of my need for grace is really heavy.

I deserve punishment; instead I receive GRACE!

Pressing On!
Dwayne
