Off Track

"Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path"

“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”

There are times that my life is on the right path and all is well. In fact when I’m on the right path – things just fall into place properly.  When I get off the right path, things don’t seem to flow quite so easily.  Getting off track really starts with one choice or one decision.  The people of Israel know a thing or two about getting off track. Check this out….

11 The Lord has given the command;

    the large house will be broken into pieces,

    and the small house into bits.
12 Horses do not run on rocks,

    and people do not plow rocks with oxen.

But you have changed fairness into poison;

    you have changed what is right into a bitter taste. (Amos 6:11-12 NCV)

If I will simply learn that the Lord will direct the journey of my life, all will be well. If He’s in charge, I don’t have to worry about being off track.  He will direct my steps. He will guard my journey.  It’s when I take the wheel back from Him that things go from good to bad.

I plan to let Him direct all areas of my life’s journey. He is the Creator of my soul and He knows my needs better than I know them. He will keep my life in balance and on track when I trust Him and let him be in the drivers seat!

Pressing On!
Dwayne
