Help!

Trust with blue markerThere are times that this is most effective prayer I can pray. I know from experience that the Lord hears my cry for help. I don’t need eloquence in prayer – I need to be real and plain spoken.  The Lord knows my heart before my words are spoken. I have the “cart before the horse” if I watch my words but don’t cultivate a heart for Him. I need help every day from the Lord. I want His favor on my family and me. I also want Him to protect me as well as provide for me. I believe He does both. Check this out…

16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked?

    Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?
17 Unless the Lord had given me help,

    I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
18 When I said, “My foot is slipping,”

    your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.
19 When anxiety was great within me,

    your consolation brought me joy.
22 But the Lord has become my fortress,

    and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.
23 He will repay them for their sins

    and destroy them for their wickedness;

    the Lord our God will destroy them. (Psalm 94:16-19;22-23 NIV)

I’m still learning to trust the Lord’s Protection and Provision for me. I’m thankful because looking back I can see His hand. I want to learn to see and feel His Presence in the midst of the struggle and stress so that my spirit can remain calm in trying times.

I am still learning to trust Him after all these years.

Pressing On!
Dwayne
