God Can Do Anything

Anything Road SignThere is one thing that God cannot do – and that is fail. He cannot fail. He does not make mistakes. He does not create something that wasn’t intended. I do think that I take things He created for good and use them for bad. God can do anything He wants at any time He wants. He can work through people who don’t even know Him. He can do good through people who are normally bad. He is the Creator of all I see and know. I remember as a kid working with clay and shaping a bowl of some sort – it was pretty crude. The bowl didn’t talk back to me. The created should show respect and honor for our Creator. Check this out….

4 For the sake of Jacob my servant,
    of Israel my chosen,
I summon you by name
    and bestow on you a title of honor,
    though you do not acknowledge me.
5 I am the Lord, and there is no other;
    apart from me there is no God.
I will strengthen you,
    though you have not acknowledged me,
6 so that from the rising of the sun
    to the place of its setting
people may know there is none besides me.
    I am the Lord, and there is no other.
7 I form the light and create darkness,
    I bring prosperity and create disaster;
    I, the Lord, do all these things. (Isaiah 45:4-7 NIV)

I want to live the rest of my days noticing what God is doing. I also want to be an integral part of what He is doing. I would rather have the simplest of jobs to feed and clothe my family and know without a doubt that I’m in the center of God’s plan for me. I want to honor my Creator by seeking Him and serving Him all the days of my life. I want to see where He’s working and get to work serving and helping. He can do anything He wants with me. I want to be a part of something much bigger than me. I want to be a Kingdom builder with the King of Kings, the Creator God.

Pressing On!
Dwayne
