Covering

At night I love for my room to be cool so that I can get under lots of cover to sleep.  Now this does make it hard to get up and get moving because it’s so warm under the cover and cold when I get up.  I’m thinking of other types of covering that we use. Our house covers us. I recently put a cover over my camper to protect it from the elements.  Covering is often for protection and comfort. Isaiah speaks of both.  Check this out….

I need a covering of God all over my life today. I need His protection and His direction for my life. I need a safe place to hide in the storms of life. I need His Presence to be with me, over me, in me, and through me.  I need Him to clean me up before covering me up. I’m not asking God for comfort as much as I am for protection.   He is my Protector and my Provider. I will rest in His covering of me today.
